Character TD (Rigger)
Studio Zubio is looking for a talented Character TD to help provide functionality and flexibility to our character models and designs.
This is currently a remote/telecommute position.
Responsibilities:

Use Maya tools to create rigs for characters, creatures and props

Retargeting motion capture animation to custom rigs

Write scripts designed to improve process and workflow

Work closely with animators to achieve engaging performances

Qualifications:

Proficiency with Maya

Fluency in Python and MEL to write scripts to expedite rig deliveries

A strong understanding of anatomy, geometry and animation

Experience in Unity a plus

Experience in blendshape sculpting

Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
-
Experience creating rigs for real-time and pre-rendered productions
